Beard & Moustache Transplant
Grafts are moved one by one from the nape to patchy, sparse or scarred areas of the beard.
Who is it for?
Genetically sparse growth, asymmetric gaps in the cheeks, areas that no longer grow because of burns or scarring, and damage from earlier laser hair removal are the main reasons for a beard transplant.
What makes the technique different
Beard work demands finer angle control than the scalp. Facial hair leaves the skin almost flat; if the channel is not opened at 15-20 degrees the result stands upright and looks unnatural. Single-follicle grafts are therefore preferred here.
When will I see the result?
Redness settles in 4-5 days. After shock loss, permanent growth starts around month three and the beard reaches full density at months 8-10. Transplanted hair can be shaved and grows like ordinary beard hair.
Highlights
- Natural density with single-follicle grafts
